Flashback Weekend Buffy Fan Event 2003

The event featured celebrity guests James Marsters (SPIKE), Danny Strong (Jonathan), Tom Lenk (Andrew), a Buffy “Big Bad” reunion featuring Mark Metcalf (“The Master”) and George Hertzberg (“Adam”), and Iyari Limon (“Kennedy”). Also featured was Scott Schwartz, who has battled Sarah Michelle Gellar on “BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and David Boreanaz on “ANGEL”.

The highlight of the weekend was GHOST OF THE ROBOT in concert! GotR rocked the house for two packed concerts at the historic Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge, Illinois. The hit indie-rock band GHOST OF THE ROBOT features James Marsters (Vocals/Guitar), Charlie DeMars (Guitar), Aaron Anderson (Drums), Kevin McPherson (Bass), and Steven Sellers (Keys/Guitar).

As many of our Celebrity guests are renowned for their work on the stage, we rented the Pickwick Theatre on Sunday to give them a proper setting for their Q & A’s. Additional convention activities included autograph signings, photo-ops with our celebrity guests, panel discussions, a dealer’s room featuring BUFFY and ANGEL merchandise, a BUFFY collector Card Tournament, and a 35mm screening of the original feature film BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER.
