Lori Joffs – Co-owner and Site Administrator
The founder of the Twilight Lexicon, Lori Joffs created the site in 2006 to provide a forum for news and discussion for fans of the increasingly popular Twilight series of books by Stephenie Meyer. With Stephenie’s blessing, Lori developed the site into the fandom’s most comprehensive portal for all things Twilight. In addition to her Twilight Lexicon efforts, Lori also acted as a reader for Stephenie Meyer during the development of Eclipse, the third novel in the saga. Lori is the point-person for content and intellectual property on the Lexicon, and uses her creative talents and site management experience to ensure a meaningful experience for all Lexicon users.
Laura Byrne-Cristiano – Co-owner and Site Administrator
An established marketing professional with over 20 years of experience, Laura is responsible for the daily management and administration of the Lexicon. Laura’s tenure as director of marketing for a regional not-for-profit organization has afforded her the skills and experience necessary to effectively manage the Twilight fandom’s largest and most robust discussion and news forum. Laura’s consistent commitment to providing informative and relevant information to fans ensures that the Lexicon will remain the benchmark against which all other fan sites are measured.
Shelley Harper – PR/Promotions Manager
Shelley Harper brings over 18 years of experience developing advertising and
promotional materials to the position of PR/Promotions Manager. This
experience, which spans a variety of diverse industries and markets, coupled
with her passion for the Twilight Saga manifests in her progressive,
creative, innovative approach to marketing and promoting the Twilight
Lexicon web site. In her role as PR/Promotions Manager, Shelley manages
special events, public and media relations, fan promotions and marketing for
the Lexicon.

STEVE (CAPONE) PROKOPY
Steve Prokopy is the Chicago branch writer for Ain’t it Cool News” (www.aintitcool.com). Steve covered the ComicCon TWILIGHT presentation in July of 2008 (and his ears are still ringing!). He had his pick of TWILIGHT celebrity guests to interview at the event. Steve will be at TWILIGHT Chicago to tell us what it was like to be at TWILIGHT Ground Zero!
Steve has contributed film reviews and filmmaker and actor interviews under the name "Capone" since 1997. In 2005, he also joined the staff of the Chicago-based media outlet GapersBlock.com as the site's Friday film critic with his Steve@theMovies column. Steve has been a horror fanatic since he was a youngster, and was even suspended from high school for a day after a presentation he gave his classmates on his hero, make-up master Tom Savini. He has been a Flashback Weekend co-host since it began in 2002.
Geoff Harkness
Geoff is the Chicago-based director of National Vampire, a documentary chronicling the undergournd culture of vampires in the United States. To achieve this, Harkness spent more than two years interviewing and observing a variety of individuals involved with the vampire lifestyle. The research took him from coast to coast, including stops in New York City, San Francisco, New Orleans and, of course, Chicago. The resulting documentary National Vampire offers a powerful, shocking and occasionally hilarious glimpse into this unique subculture.
Martin V. Riccardo
Martin V. Riccardo is a behavioral hypnotist and the director of Vampire Studies, an information center for vampire fans, which he founded in 1977. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and USA Today in relation to his vampire research. Mr. Riccardo has written several books on vampires and many magazine articles. He has communicated with thousands of vampire fans over the years and is one of the cultural experts consulted in National Vampire.
Founded in Chicago in 1977 as the Vampire Studies Society by Martin V. Riccardo, the organization was the first vampire fan club to use the word "vampire" in its name (there had previously been several organizations built around Dracula). For several years the society published a Journal of Vampirism. The word "society" was dropped in 1990 and Vampire Studies now exists as a correspondence network and information clearing-house for people interested in all aspects of vampire lore. Sebastiaan T. van Houten
Sebastiaan is one of the central personalities of the Vampyre/vampire subculture. He joined the community in 1992, an is now known as an authority on Vampyrism, fangsmithing and Strigoi Vii. Sebastiaan is the founder of a number of businesses & organizations including Sabretooth, Endless Night Productions and The Sanguinarium. He has appeared in numerous TV shows, documentaries and publications, including A&E, CNNfn, The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, USA, MTV, Cosmopolitan, The New York Times, The Financial Times, InStyle Magazine, Glamour & Skin Two.
Sebastiaan is featured in National Vampire.
