Flashback Weekend believes that a Horror Convention should not personally profit from hosting a convention, and should instead give back to the film industry that gives us the horror films we love. Flashback Weekend does just that. All net proceeds from Flashback Weekend go to the operation and preservation of the Flashback Weekend owned and operated Midway Drive-In located in Dixon, IL.
- Our philanthropic efforts are dedicated to Big Screen Theatrical Exhibition, preservation of the American Drive-In, and 35mm film presentations.
- Flashback Weekend screens classic Horror Film Festivals at the Midway throughout the season, in addition to first-run films.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ORDERING & TICKET PICK UP – PLEASE READ!
- Your tickets will NOT be mailed.
- Your tickets will be available for pick-up at the Flashback Convention Registration desk the weekend of the event.
- Be sure to bring a photo ID when you pick up your tickets. The name on the ID must match the name on the ticket order.
- You must have a Flashback Weekend convention admission to attend all convention events and photo-ops for the day of the event.
- Photo-op ticket holders must be on time at the scheduled time for the photo-ops. Photo-ops cannot be re-scheduled. No refunds for photo-ops you miss.
- No Refunds.
- Package contents are non-transferable.
- Schedule and celebrity guests are subject to change.
We suggest that everyone purchase their tickets in advance. After your advance ticket purchase, you will be e-mailed a confirmation with a bar code which is scanned at the convention when you check in at the registration desk. With no cash or credit cards being exchanged, advance sales will be contactless, safe, and easy! In addition, you won’t have to worry about a sell-out.
- Your ticket bar code will be e-mailed to the e-mail which you enter at the time of purchase, so please be sure to enter the correct e-mail address.
- You must bring the e-mail containing the bar code with you to the convention (on an electronic device or printed).
- We will scan the bar code at our registration desk.
- Non-refundable booking fees apply for advance ticket purchases.
- No refunds on advance ticket purchases.
- Ticket sale barcodes are only good for one scan. Do not share your barcode with anyone else! If someone else scans your barcode, it will not work for you and you will need to re-purchase ticket(s) for entry to the Convention.
WHAT YOU MUST BRING WITH YOU TO REDEEM YOUR ADVANCE TICKETS AT OUR REGISTRATION BOOTH
You must have either your printed ticket with barcode or QR code or the information on a device including the barcode or QR code. Screen shots are not acceptable. The barcode or QR code will be scanned at the Registration desk. Please be sure to bring a photo ID when you pick up your tickets. The name on the ID must match the name on the ticket order.
You will receive a Wristband at Convention check-in the weekend of the conventions. Do not lose the wristband, as they will not be replaced.
SPECIAL TICKETED EVENTS AT FLASHBACK WEEKEND

Friday July 31, 2026 – SPECIAL EVENT
The Legendary SVENGOOLIE (Rich Koz) will be taking the stage for “SVENGOOLIE LIVE”, the live Horror talk show on Friday July 31, 2026. Featuring Svengoolie live on stage with celebrity guests and surprises, all in the classic Svengoolie style that we love! Imagine your favorite late night talk show. Imagine Svengoolie hosting. Imagine yourself in the studio audience. You can stop imagining, because it is happening! This will be the Horror Event of the Year!
VIP seating for this special concert event is included with ULTIMATE TICKETS. General seating SVENGOOLIE LIVE! tickets will be available for purchase by Weekend and Single Day Ticket holders based on availability. Both Convention and SVENGOOLIE LIVE! ticket required to attend the SVENGOOLIE LIVE! Talk show.

ALAN HOWARTH IN CONCERT – ALAN HOWARTH PERFORMS THE SCORE OF “HALLOWEEN II” LIVE TO A SCREENING OF THE FILM!
Saturday Aug. 1, 2026 – SPECIAL EVENT
Composer Alan Howarth will perform his classic score to “HALLOWEEN II" (1981) live to a screening of the film at Flashback Weekend on Sat. Aug. 1, 2026! This all-immersive audio and visual film screening experience is not to be missed!
VIP seating for this special concert event is included with ULTIMATE TICKETS. General seating ALAN HOWARTH CONCERT tickets will be available for purchase by Weekend and Single Day Ticket holders based on availability. Convention and concert ticket required to attend the concert.

Celeb Photo Ops

A photo-op ticket is not a ticket to the convention. Flashback Weekend convention ticket is required to participate in Celeb Photo Ops.
AUTOGRAPH PURCHASES
- Autographs are purchased at the convention at each celebrity guest table.
- Please see the FAQ page for additional information.
Important Caveats
- Celebrity appearances are subject to change.
- No refunds on convention tickets.
- Please come to Flashback Weekend for the entire convention, not just one celebrity guest.
- On occasion, a celebrity guest may have more fans in line than there is time for them to sign for. In that case, please note that there is no guarantee that you will meet and get autographs from every celebrity guest that you wish to. We ask that everyone attend for the entire convention experience, not just one specific celebrity guest.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU DO NOT MEET A SPECIFIC CELEBRITY GUEST
- Activities, package contents, special events, ticket prices, Celebrity Guests, and schedule subject to change.
- Events including panel discussions, film screenings, costume contests, and after-parties are limited to seating capacity.
- Flashback Weekend reserves the right to deny entry to any attendee. Package contents are non-transferrable.
- Celebrity guests appear at Flashback Weekend under an exclusive arrangement. No interviews or filming of the celebrity guests without the express written consent of Flashback Weekend (Kerz Productions, Inc.).
- Photos, video recordings, etc. taken at Flashback Weekend are for personal use only. No license whatsoever is granted for commercial use of any likeness or image. All images & recordings taken at Flashback Weekend are the sole property of Flashback Weekend (Kerz Productions, Inc.) and cannot be used for any non-private publication without the express written consent of Kerz Productions, Inc.
- Flashback Weekend attendees grant permission to Flashback Weekend (Kerz Productions, Inc.) to utilize their image or likeness incidental to any live or recorded video or other display, transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the event.
- Please respect the personal space of the celebrities at all times. Autographs and photos are allowed during scheduled official sessions only.
- Your presence at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago and Flashback Weekend signifies your understanding and agreement to all terms and conditions noted.
- Do NOT lose your wristband. They cannot be replaced. You will need to purchase another wristband if you lose your original wristband.
- Occasionally a Celebrity Guest may need to cancel due to professional or personal obligations. No refunds will be given in this case.
